There are reports around that Maria Sugarp… ehm… Maria Sharapova is trying to change her name to Maria Sugarpova!!!
This would be quite an incredible marketing wizardry to push Maria’s candy Line (Sugarpova). Apparently the Russian Beauty has already invested 500.000$ to promote her candies.
Apparently Maria as asked to the Florida Supreme Court to change her name just for the duration of the US Open to then get back her “identity”as Sharapova.
And what about the lips?
It seems that part of the plan is also to involve a pair of red lips (the symbol of Sugarpova) in Maria’s clothing line during the tournament.
We really need to say that person that has devise this marketing campaign is real genius, maybe in the future will will see new players such as Roger Fedex (that would have been fantastic), Rafael Armani or whatever…
