5-year-old in Zadar reported to be infected after Adria Tour party

There are fears that the Coronavirus has been spreading in the community in Zadar after the Adria Tour

Adria Tour

More and more people are testing positive to the Coronavirus after the staging of the controversial Adria Tour. The complete lack of social distancing of the tour has been the big talk in the tennis community and beyond especially after players and team members have been found infected.

Grigor Dimitrov was among the people that tested positive by the virus and he looked stunned to see the turn out of the fans in Zadar on the occasion of the kids’ day. Borna Coric (also infected) explained that the lockdown was properly implemented in the country (so.. no problems?).

“This is crazy.” Dimitrov expressed his concern before testing positive

Unfortunately, it seems that the consequences of such recklessness are reaching beyond the players and their teams. Both Viktor Troicki and his pregnant wife tested positive and now, as reported by the local outlet index.hr, a 5-year-old was also tested positive. An official statement said that the child didn’t participate in any event related to the tournament.

However as stressed by Blic, the kid is the grandson of the owner (Eric Pavin) of the Zadar restaurant “Niko”, where tennis players had a party.

Fortunately, the child is asymptomatic for the time being and all parents are asked to isolate their kids if they have been in contact with the tennis players.
