The IPTL in Manila will be played from the 28th till the 30th of November and there is going to be an afternoon and evening session (4pm and 7.30pm).

From the schedules it is quite clear that some top players are trying not to compete much while the “some others” have to “work” a bit more.

FREE LOADERS: Serena, Sharapova

2 of the biggest names (Serena and Maria) will only play 2 (mini) sets in this 3 days. Sharapova will play only 2 sets against Mladenovic (Friday) and Ivanovic (Saturday). Serena will play only on Sunday a set vs. Flipkens and in doubles with Soares.

Not much…isn’t it?

HEAVY DUTIES: Cilic, Mladenovic, Zimonjic and Soares

Life would be a bit busier for other players that were a bit more available to play. Cilic, Mladenovic (Bouchard substitute), Zimonjic and Soares will play 6 sets (2 each day).

Here the schedule

I bought the cheapest ticket because I just want to watch RF & Nole playing `live`, and I guessed they will be playing `exhibition`-level tennis.

Now they won`t even turn up ?

Rafa was not convinced, that`s why he withdrew.

Sorry for the rant, but I was also very disappointed for the very late announcement of genie Bouchard retirement,. It is very clear that they knew it much before. I even doubt she was serious about playing.

... and where are Federer and Djokovic? And Kyrgios? Were they supposed to play? It seems that IPTL wants only the headlines from these players. I was also expecting Roger to come to singapore, but that is not going to happen.
