The ASB Classic in Auckland has built up an amazing line-up for 2020 also with the addition of the upcoming superstar Amanda Anisimova.

The WTA event has attracted box office players such as Serena Williams, Bianca Andreescu, Coco Gauff, Caroline Wozniacki, and Genie Bouchard.

Tournament director Karl Budge commented:

“It’s just another great signing for the ASB Classic. Amanda was projected to finish the season around the top ten earlier in the year and is ranked 24 at the moment.

When you think she missed a large proportion of the season due to the sad passing of her father prior to the US Open, it just shows what a talent she is.”

At 18 years of age, Amanda has already ranked no.24 and her talent and nice personality make her one of the most interesting prospects in tennis (WTA and ATP). She is rumored to have signed a $100 mil deal with Nike and she has also the same manager as Maria Sharapova.

The best line-up ever in Auckland

Budge added: “This must be the best lineup of sport this country has seen. I can’t think of a time that you have had this level of global true star power and relevance on any given week of sport in this country. It’s a staggeringly good lineup and certainly the best I have been able to put together.”

The WTA event will commence on the 4th of January (qualifications). This is going to be a good one to watch.
