Jelena Ostapenko is having an unbelievable year after conquering the French Open coming from nowhere and winning the event in Seoul. The Latvian is also backing up her titles with some solid runs in other top tournaments such as Wimbledon (quarters) and Wuhan (semi-final). Jelena has just reached the quarters in Beijing, and that was enough for her to qualify for the Singapore finals.

Soon after she qualified for the finals, the 20-year-old commented
“I’m extremely happy to qualify for my very first WTA Finals. I had a great season, and I hope I can continue to play my best tennis in front of all the fans in Singapore.”
