In 2019 The Canadian sensation has reached the semifinal in Miami and the finals in Stuttgart, Lyon and Rio de Janeiro and he achieved a world no.19 career-high rank.

However, things went a bit sideways after a disappointing American summer after Felix reached only the 3rd round at the Rogers Cup before crashing out in the opening matches in both Cincinnati and at the US Open.

Felix decided to elect Monte-Carlo as his residence because it is an easier place to travel all over the world and it has also good weather to train (the favorable tax regimes also helps).

Felix decided to go and practice at the Patrick Mouratoglou academy that is just 45 minutes away from Monte-Carlo.
