Nick Kyrgios baffled the entire tennis world when he kneeled at the net before taking on Roger Federer at the recent Laver Cup. Many interpreted that behavior as a gesture of solidarity toward the ongoing NFL protest against Trump that had a tough comment against players that refused to stand during the National Anthem.

When asked if Nick kneeled to protest against the US President he replied “F*** no. Serious? I’m doing that before most matches just to remember, you know, the two most important people that have passed away.”
Nick has recently lost his grandmother and his grandfather.
