Her father is Slawek Kerber and her mother is Beata Kerber who also doubles up as her manager. She has a sister named Jessica. Kerber started playing tennis at the age of 3. She took up the sport professionally in the year 2003. Kerber is fluent in English, Polish and German. She plays left-handed and is 5ft and 8 inches (1.73 m).
Career breakthrough
After turning pro in 2003, Kerber was a constant feature in WTA and ITF tours. It wasn’t until 2011 when she reached the US Open semi-finals ranked number 92 in the world that the tennis world began to take notice of Kerber’s talents. Kerber continued to work hard and in 2016, her efforts paid off when she had an incredible year. She started off the year by winning the Australian Open. She would go on to have an incredible year which culminated in her clinching the US Open title by defeating Russian Karolina Pliskova and in the process was ranked as the number 1 female tennis player in the world for the first time in her career. Her success in 2016 earned her the WTA player of the year award. In 2018 she won her first Wimbledon title by defeating Serena Williams in the final and make it a total of three career Grand Slam titles.

Torben Beltz, reports Players Wiki. Torben had been the coach for eight years but in 2017 they parted ways after a poor run of form by Kerber. According to Hollywood Mask, Kerber has spoken on the issue of relationships and says she wants to focus on her tennis career for the time being. In an interview when pressed on her relationship status, Kerber responded that she would be patient. “That’s the question I was waiting for. I am not in a rush.
