Forbes discloses Federer’s incredible appearance fees

At 36 years of age, Roger Federer is still extremely active on tour. After a fantastic season, he has managed to get back to the world no.2 rank, and he has consolidated his”position”  as the tennis player with the biggest endorsements.

$64 million without playing much

According to Forbes, the Swiss sensation has earned $64 million between June 2016 and June 2017 without even playing much. In fact, Roger has skipped the entire 2nd part of the 2016 season and he has chosen not to play the clay swing in 2017.

It seems that Roger is able to earn $2 million to play top exhibitions like the ITPL and he can get $1 million just to play an ATP250 or an ATP500.

The top sponsors of Roger are Nike, Wilson, Credit Suisse, Mercedes, Rolex, Lindt, Jura, Moet & Chandon, Sunrise and NetJets. Nike gives $10 million a year to the world no.2 Just to add a bit more cash, Roger has recently signed 5 years’ deal with Barilla that will grant him $40 million.

Federer has won “only” $106 million in prize money in his career, but it is estimated that he has earned more than $1 billion with the endorsements.

Probably the greatest… Isn’t he?
