Federer has a great welcome in Prague

Roger Federer received an extremely warm welcome as soon as he landed in Prague where he will play the Laver Cup.  There was a huge crowd and many journalists at the arrivals anxious to ask Roger about his condition.

About Federer’s condition

When asked about his fitness after an awkward run at the US Open where he had to bow in the quarters, Roger commented

“I wasn’t practicing much after USO. I was just tired, many things in my body were hurt. I needed rest, and I feel much better now.”

Then, the Maestro added

“Family won’t be here, but Mirka will join me later. The Czech language, I know, is not the same as Slovak, but she understands everything.

I don’t know who will match up best for us in doubles, would love to play with Rafa and with Tomas, it will also be a good team as well.”
