The men’s ranking is an interesting thriller. Nole lost the final against the King of Clay, but he improved his result at the Roland Garros (last year he lost in the semis with Federer) so has to gain some more points.
Roger is still world no.3 but he lost a bit of ground because he couldn’t get to the final this year at the French Open. The Swiss can have a shot at the world no.1 if he wins Wimbledon (and we know he can) since last year he only reched the quarters (when he was badly upset by Tsonga). So if Roger wins in London he would gain additional (2000-360=) 1640 points and if Nole does not reach the final… the Swiss Maestro will become world no.1! Another semifinal between Federer and Djokovic would be a match not to lose.
Regarding the other players, David Ferrer is inches away from Tsonga and Mardy Fish slipped away from the top 10.
