Simona Halep can play Baseball!
The world no.2 is about to compete at the upcoming US Open in New York when once again she will hope to gain the elusive world no.1 rank. In the meantime, the Romanian was invited to the Mets game in New York, and she even had the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
Simona looked amazing dressed as a baseball player, but she was a bit nervous ahead of the throw. Eventually, everything went well, but we are sure that the Romanian will still stick to her beloved tennis.
Fun to see!
Thank you to the @Mets for inviting me to throw the 1st pitch for tonights game ðŸ˜. A pleasure to meet @You_Found_Nimmo & the team âš¾ï¸âš¾ï¸ pic.twitter.com/bqhQ84OzKi
