Elina Svitolina wins again!

The Ukrainian confirms that she is one of best players on tour after she wins the title in Toronto, Elina had a remarkable run in Canada to defeat 4 top10 players: Venus Williams,  Garbine Muguruza, Simona Halep, and Carolina Wozniacki.

The final lasted just 8 games (4-4), then the Ukrainian was just too good for Wozniacki; Elina conquered the 8 following games to win the match 6-4 6-0.

In just 2 days, Elina has defeated Garbine Muguruza (Wimbledon Champion), Simona Halep (world no.2), and Carolina Wozniacki (former world no.1). Alina commented

“I need some time still to really realize, because I had so many matches for the last two days and it’s been really, really tough physically.  It was very hot, so I’ve been really struggling. I’m just very happy that it’s finished – and with a title, it’s even more special.”

This is Svitolina’s 5^th title of the season after she conquered, Taipei, Dubai, Istanbul, and Rome. She is definitely there to bid for the top spot in the rankings.
