Sam Querrey is having a fantastic 2017, especially in Mexico. In fact, the American wins his second title of the season after conquering Acapulco and now Los Cabos where he has just defeated Kokkinakis in the final after winning 6-3 3-6 6-2.

Sam was elated with his title also because this was a comeback tournament after Wimbledon where he reached the semi-final. The American commented
“It’s really exciting to win here. I felt like I played really well. This tournament only keeps getting better, so I’m already excited to come back next year.
I think the last couple of months have been the best I’ve played and if I can keep this going the rest of the year, it’ll be my best year on tour yet.”
Next step: Montreal where he will face Gilles Muller in the first round.
