Simona Halep and Jelena Ostapenko may clash again in Toronto after their historic final in Paris when the Latvian won the match after recovering a big deficit in both the second and third set. 

Simona and Jelena may face each other in the quarters, but Simona seems to have an easier path than Ostapenko before their possible match. In fact, the Romanian has a big hurdle “only” in Kiki Mladenovic in the third-round while Ostapenko has probably to face Garcia and Kuznetsova on the way.
