Isner, Harrison to play an all-American final in Atlanta

John Isner and Ryan Harrison will play an all-American final in Atlanta.

Isner

John has sailed through the week to reach the final without dropping a single set. This is an amazing achievement if you consider that he has just won the title in Newport without losing a set and without conceding a single break point for the entire week.

In the semi-final in Atlanta, John defeated Gilles Muller 6-4 6-2 after he broke his opponent 3 times and without dropping his serve.

Harrison

Ryan had a much more adventurous road to the final than Isner as he won 2 matches late in the third set. In the semi-final, the American had to work hard to beat Kyle Edmund. The key moment was the last part of the decider when Ryan was 3-4 down before winning the next 3 games after dropping just 1 point.

The final

Isner leads Harrison 5-2, but Ryan is 2-0 up against his compatriot on hard courts. Isner is still the hot favorite to win his 12th title.
