Stefan Edberg has coached Federer for a couple of years and he remained a close friend to the Swiss’ camp. Besides remaining in great terms with Roger, Edberg has also helped the Swiss to enhance dramatically his game at the net adding some tactical improvements.

The Swede has been interviewed by the BBC soon after the Maestro won his 8th Wimbledon. Stefan had fantastic words for his friend to comment

Roger is the greatest in my eyes and I think he’s proved it with 19 Grand Slam titles, eight here. It’s always worth coming out to watch him because you always know there’s going to be some unbelievable shots out there.”
