Murray: “What I am going to do against Paire”

Andy Murray will face Benoit Paire in the Wimbledon 4th round.

Even if Andy is the clear favorite to access the quarters, you’ll never know how Paire will show up on a given day. Therefore, the Briton is aware that he needs a clear plan.

What I am going to do against Paire. MURRAY

When asked about Andy’s game plan against Paire, the world no.1 replied

“Against Benoit, it will be important for me to serve well. He has a big serve himself, plays a lot of serve-and-volley.

When you’re playing guys that are maybe a bit up and down, if you can keep consistent pressure on them by serving well and not giving them the opportunities on your own serve, that pressure builds over time, and you have to capitalize when they have little lulls. I will try to do that.”

Head to head

Andy leads Paire 1-0. The only match they played was in Montecarlo last year when Andy won a tight three-setter 2-6 7-5 7-5.
