Andy Murray defeats Fabio Fognini after an extremely tough battle.
After conquering a 2-1 sets lead, the world no.1 was in dire straits when he was trailing on a 2-5 scoreline in the 4th set. Andy had to save 5 set points in 3 consecutive games before winning the match 6-2 4-6 6-1 7-5.

Andy acknowledged that Fognini had a great match to comment
“Fabio has got good timing. I think the quicker court helps his serve a little bit. He puts a lot of returns in play. He moves well. He has a good slice, volleys very well. He played great tennis at times tonight. In my mind, there’s no reason why he can’t play well on grass.”

Andy will face Benoit Paire in the 4th round. The head to head is 1-0 for Andy that is expected not to struggle much against the Frenchman.
