Sascha Zverev had an impressive start of his campaign in Halle after he demolished (a good) Paolo Lorenzi in the first round. The German got an early lead in both sets (4-1 and 3-1) to win the contest 6-3 6-2.

Alexander won 20 points more than the Italian (59 vs 39) and he has blasted 29 winners.

Next vs. Kohlschreiber

Sascha will face fellow German Philipp Kohlschreiber in the second round. Even if the head to head is  2-0 for Kohlschreiber, Sascha should win this one.
