Zverev in the s-Hertogenbosch semifinal

Sascha Zverev is having a fantastic run in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

The German defeated Mannarino in the first match 6-2 6-3 in just 54 minutes, and it took only 56 minutes to beat another Frenchman (Benneteau) 6-0 6-4.

I had to keep my focus. ZVEREV

In the post-match interview, the 20-year-old conceded that even if the match was rather quick, he had to keep his focus. Sascha commented

“You always have to stay focused, especially against a guy like Julien. You lose your serve once, and it’s tough to get it back. I am happy to be through now. I grew up on clay courts, but the grass is so good these days that you can play your natural game and slide into strokes.”

Next vs. Muller

Sascha will play Gilles Muller in the semifinal. They have never played each other so far.
