Roger Federer has staged an incredible comeback in 2017 after winning the Australian Open, Indian Wells, and Miami.
Roger has also recorded three consecutive wins against his nemesis Rafael Nadal, and he looked extremely strong against the top players, but there is something quirky in Roger’s season.
Why his stats are weird
Federer has an overall 20-2 win-loss record this year, but the only two losses he suffered were against Donskoy in Dubai (at that time ranked no.116) and yesterday he lost to his friend Tommy Haas ranked no.302 (of course, Tommy’s rank doesn’t reflect his potential).

I think this is just a matter of being focused. Yesterday he played really well in the first set against Haas, then he became complacent.
