Jelena Ostapenko surprised everyone after winning an incredible title at the recent Roland Garros.
The 20-year-old from Latvia received a fantastic welcome when back home where she was treated like a star (nothing wrong with that).
Jelena was the first unseeded player to win the Roland Garros in the open era, and after her incredible fortnight in Paris, she gained 35 places in the rankings to be the new world no.12.
Ostapenko is also expected to break in the top10 quite soon, and many consider her as a considered as a future world no.1
Time will tell.
