Margaret Court was an amazing player that has 24 slams and the Grand Slam in 1970. Unfortunately, the Australian player will not be remembered only for her incredible results, but also for being one of the most homophobic public figures in the world.
Margaret has been extremely vocal against homosexuality to refuse to fly Qantas for backing LGBTs; the Australian also shared her extreme views against gay players.
After all the controversy stirred by her words, many asked the Australian Open to rename the Margaret Court Arena.

The only organization that did something was google that renamed the Margaret Court Arena calling it the Evonne Goolagong Arena on Google Maps. Evonne has won “only” 7 slams, but she didn’t hate diversity.
