Álex Chozas and Tino Libaak team up for the 2026 Premier Padel season.

Libaak

In 2026, the Premier Padel circuit will welcome a new pairing as Tino Libaak, a promising Argentinean prospect, teams up with fellow countryman Álex Chozas. At an Argentina Padel Tour event, their agent Lisandro Borges announced the move. Two world champions who have already bonded during their time together as Argentina’s representatives and competitors at the 2024 P2 event in Finland are paired together.

Offensive power and shared potential

Libaak and Chozas combine youth, balance, and offensive force to create a combo that is uniquely Argentinian. They are a formidable combination for any opponent because of their attributes. They have already put their relationship to the test in international competition, and now they want to improve consistency and performance throughout the Premier Padel season.

Libaak’s injury recovery

After a difficult 2025 season marred by a severe lower back injury, Libaak views the new partnership as a fresh start. Born in 2005, the Villa Mercedes native had made an impression with Juan Tello early in the season before missing four months of action. He made a comeback with Franco Dal Bianco at the Germany Premier Padel P2. Later, he played with Jairo Bautista and advanced to the round of 16 in Rotterdam, Dubai, and Acapulco while trying to get back on track.

Chozas is looking for a beat.

Chozas, on the other hand, wants to reach the level he demonstrated in 2024, when he rose from A1 Padel to become one of the breakout stars. He finished 29th in the FIP standings and shared the court with Álex Ruiz, Sanyo Gutierrez, and Tolito Aguirre throughout his inconsistent 2025 campaign. Three quarterfinal appearances were his finest accomplishments, but the new association with Libaak presents an opportunity to start over and set bigger goals.

Ambition and redemption

After a challenging year, both players, who were declared world champions in 2024, see this collaboration as a chance to turn things around. Libaak and Chozas will be one of the most watched teams in the 2026 Premier Padel season thanks to their combined skill and tenacity, representing the aspirations of Argentine padel players and the prospect of thrilling matches to come.
