Jannik Sinner has once again captured the admiration of tennis fans worldwide, being voted Fans’ Favourite singles player in the ATP Awards for the third consecutive year. The Italian star added six tour-level titles to his collection in 2025, further cementing his place among the sport’s elite.
Sinner’s message to fans
In a heartfelt note, Sinner expressed gratitude to supporters who continue to back him. “Thank you so much for voting for me,” said Sinner. “Winning the Fans’ Favourite award once again means the world to me, especially because of you guys. It has been a very intense year, but you give me so much energy and love, especially when I go on court and perform in front of you. It’s the best feeling for us tennis players, so thank you so much. I will prepare myself in the best possible way to be ready for next year, and see you all very, very soon.”
Highlights of the 2025 season
Sinner began the year by defending his Australian Open crown. Out of the 12 tour-level events he entered, he reached the final in all but two. His most memorable triumph came at Wimbledon, where he defeated rival Carlos Alcaraz to claim his first title at the All England Club.
Strong finish to the year
The Italian closed the season ranked World No. 2, just behind Alcaraz. He ended 2025 on a remarkable 15-match winning streak, lifting trophies in Vienna, Paris, and at the Nitto ATP Finals. For the second year in a row, he did not drop a set throughout the Finals, showcasing his dominance on the biggest stage. His overall record stood at 58 wins and 6 losses, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Awards history
Sinner has become a familiar face at the ATP Awards. In 2019, he was named Newcomer of the Year. By 2023, he had claimed both the Most Improved Player of the Year and Fans’ Favourite honours. He repeated as Fans’ Favourite in 2024, while also earning ATP No. 1 presented by PIF. His latest accolade in 2025 continues a streak of recognition that reflects both his on-court success and his popularity among fans.

Ranked world no.2, the Italian played his last match on the 16th of November when he defeated world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4) 7-5 in the final in the Nitto ATP Finals to win his 25th career title.
