American tennis star Ben Shelton recently wrapped up his professional season, but the competitive energy quickly gave way to a lighthearted moment with his girlfriend, soccer player Trinity Rodman. The USWNT star managed to make Shelton “crack up” by incorporating his tennis rackets into an impromptu dance routine.

Following his participation in the ATP Finals in Turin, Shelton returned to the court for a one-night exhibition event known as the Atlanta Cup. The event, held on December 6 at Gas South Arena, featured a roster of top talent, including Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka, and Nick Kyrgios.
Shelton, a homegrown talent from Atlanta, delivered an impressive performance, securing a 7-6, 6-3 victory over the entertaining Kyrgios in the men’s singles clash. In the women’s match, Sabalenka emerged victorious over Osaka, winning 6-3, 4-6, 10-4.

Days after the exhibition, Shelton shared a video that captured his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, in a moment of playful spontaneity. Rodman, who was present at the Atlanta Cup to support Shelton, was featured turning his professional tennis equipment into comic props for a short dance routine, much to the amusement of the tennis player. The video, which was shared on Shelton’s social media, also featured highlights from the exhibition match itself.
An athletic power couple’s basketball skills
The sporting fun was not limited to the tennis court. Ahead of the Atlanta Cup, the couple enjoyed a night out at an NBA game, watching the Atlanta Hawks take on the Denver Nuggets. The Hawks organization later shared footage of Rodman and Shelton showcasing their skills on the basketball court.
