Matteo Berrettini recently enjoyed a family holiday in the Maldives with his brother Jacopo and their parents. The Italian star, fresh from his Davis Cup triumph with Team Italy, chose the tropical destination to recharge after a demanding season.
Family bond
Berrettini has often highlighted the importance of family in his journey. His father Luca reflected on their shared sporting path, saying: “My children were born in sports, the holidays seemed like the Olympics. Summers in a camper at tournaments, professionalism and now an early Christmas.” The Maldives trip offered another opportunity to strengthen that bond away from the pressures of competition.

WWWLWWLWWL Currently ranked no.56, Matteo played his last match on the 23rd of November when he defeated world no.87 Raphael Collignon 6-3 6-4 in the Rubber 1 of the Davis Cup (draw).
At the moment, during this season the Italian has managed to achieve a compiled 22-17 win-loss record.
He is also scheduled to play in Brisbane (Brisbane International). The main draw will start on the 29th of December.
