With remarkable figures confirmed by the most recent FIP World Padel Report 2025, padel is still growing quickly over the world. In comparison to the previous year, there are now more than 35 million active players, 16.1% more clubs, 15.2% more courts, and 42% more registered federation members. The FIP National Federation Survey 2025 was used to obtain these numbers, which were presented during the General Assembly in Acapulco, Mexico.
Growth Throughout Continents
All five continents are now involved in the sport’s development. More than 11,000 athletes from professional and junior levels participated in FIP-organized competitions, which increased from 182 in 2024 to 290 in 2025. Clubs have increased by 4,775 units to surpass 24,600, and 14,355 new courts have been constructed, increasing the total number of courts worldwide to 77,300 over 150 countries and 20 dependent territories.
Social Media and Digital Presence
Online, Padel’s expansion is also apparent. 3.8 million unique users and 70 million page views were registered on the FIP website, a tenfold increase over 2023. In just two years, the number of followers on official social media platforms—including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn—has increased by 400%, from 210,000 in 2023 to 850,000 in 2025.
Engagement and Continental Development
A new chapter examining growth at the continental level is introduced in the report. It highlights nations that are rapidly growing, developing, and establishing themselves in the sport. The growth in amateur participation and the expansion of clubs and courts across the globe are also highlighted in this section.
Organization for Competition
The Premier Padel, CUPRA FIP Tour, and FIP Promises circuits’ histories and statistics are covered in detail in this study. The world competition roll of honor, which includes rankings by country and by pairs for professional, junior, and senior categories, is also included.
Player statistics and performance
Men’s and women’s rankings for both professional and amateur players are examined in a separate section. Inquiries about elite athletes, including their heights, birth cities, and generational patterns, are also examined. Among the significant Under-21 and Over-35 athletes who reached noteworthy ranks in 2024, the report also specifies the year of birth with the highest number of Top 100 and Top 300 players.
Future Growth and National Federations
Each of the 87 national federations that are associated with FIP in 2025 is profiled in the report’s second section. National associations will be added starting next year, bringing the total to more than 100. To further demonstrate the sport’s institutional development, this section offers data on coaching licenses and national participation in international team events.
