Children gathered at Joe Brown Park in New Orleans East on Monday afternoon, unaware they were about to share the court with one of the world’s top tennis players. Coco Gauff, ranked No. 3 in women’s tennis and winner of the 2023 U.S. Open and 2025 French Open, surprised dozens of young athletes by joining their training session.

3, the American played her last match on the 6th of November when she lost to world no.6 Jessica Pegula 6-3 6-7(4) 6-2 in the round robin in Riyadh (draw).Currently, during this year Gauff has achieved an overall 48-16 record. Gauff has won 3 titles in 2025 in Australia, French Open and Wuhan. The American was the finalist in Madrid and Rome.
