World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is spending her off-season in Brazil, where she is enjoying time with her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis and his family. After a demanding calendar highlighted by four titles, including her Grand Slam victory at the US Open, Sabalenka has embraced a more relaxed pace surrounded by loved ones.

Shared memories with Frangulis’ mother

Recently, Frangulis’ mother, Ana Helena Puccetti, shared several heartwarming snapshots of the couple. One photo captured Sabalenka and Frangulis together with a small dog resting on her lap, while another featured a group picture with Puccetti, Sabalenka, Frangulis, and close family members. In a playful touch, Sabalenka referred to Puccetti as “minha sogrinha,” Portuguese for “my mother-in-law.”

A season of success

Sabalenka’s trip to Brazil follows an impressive 2025 season in which she compiled a 63–12 record. At the WTA Finals in Riyadh, she defeated Jasmine Paolini, Jessica Pegula, and Coco Gauff to reach the semifinals, overcame Amanda Anisimova, and narrowly lost to Elena Rybakina in the final. Her consistency has reinforced her position at the top of women’s tennis.

The role of Georgios Frangulis

Frangulis, a Brazilian-born entrepreneur of Greek descent, is the founder and ambassador of Oakberry, an açaí-based company. He has been a constant presence in Sabalenka’s career, supporting her from the stands and collaborating professionally. Sabalenka even partnered with Oakberry to launch her signature “Power Serve Bowl.”

Sabalenka on her relationship

Sabalenka has previously acknowledged the importance of having her partner by her side during the tour. “Not everyone is fortunate enough to have someone who can travel with them through a demanding schedule while still managing their own work,”

she said, highlighting how Frangulis’ support has been vital both personally and professionally.

As she enjoys her off-season in Brazil, Sabalenka’s family moments reflect the balance between her intense career and personal life. With Frangulis and his family by her side, she enters the next season with renewed energy and a strong support system.
