Tough scenes in Paris.
Juan Martin Del Potro and Nicolas Almagro were fighting a tough second round. The scoreline was 1 set all when Nicolas Almagro had to retire for a bad injury to his left knee. Juan Martin served on the ad-court when Nicolas just stopped, and he fell on the ground in tears. Delpo was quick to go on the other side of the court to console his friend.
Unlucky, but also chapeaux to Delpo.
