The off-season for tennis is no longer a quiet period, with exhibition events filling the calendar almost as much as the official ATP and WTA tours. While the ATP Finals in Turin and the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna are still to be played, followed by the Next Gen ATP Finals in Riyadh, most players will shift their focus to high-profile exhibition matches starting in December.

Alcaraz and Raducanu in the United States

Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu, partners at the 2025 US Open mixed doubles, will headline two events in early December. On December 7, they will compete at A Racquet at the Rock in New Jersey, where Alcaraz faces Frances Tiafoe and Raducanu meets Amanda Anisimova. The evening will conclude with a mixed doubles showcase featuring all four players.

The following day, they move to Miami for the Miami Invitational at loanDepot Park. Raducanu and Anisimova will meet again, while Alcaraz takes on Brazilian rising star Joao Fonseca. The event will finish with a mixed doubles 10-point tie breaker.

Alcaraz and Sinner in South Korea

Two of the top men’s players will meet in Asia before the Australian Open. Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are set to play the Hyundai Card Super Match at Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea, on January 10. This exhibition comes just days before the first Grand Slam of the year in Melbourne.

Sabalenka and Kyrgios headline Dubai

Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios will face off in the Battle of the Sexes on December 28 in Dubai. The event has generated major headlines, but the pair will also appear at other exhibitions earlier in the month.

On December 6, Sabalenka will play Naomi Osaka at The Atlanta Cup, while Kyrgios takes on Ben Shelton. Two days later, at The Garden Cup in Madison Square Garden, Sabalenka will again face Osaka, while Kyrgios meets Tommy Paul. The New York event will conclude with a mixed doubles showcase.

Swiatek, Rybakina and the Continental Cup

Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Belinda Bencic, Wang Xinyu, Andrey Rublev, Flavio Cobolli, Arthur Fils, and Zhang Zhizhen will compete in the World Tennis Continental Cup. The event, running from December 26–28 in Shenzhen, China, will pit Team Europe against Team World in a format reminiscent of the Laver Cup.

Macau Tennis Masters

The Macau Tennis Masters on December 27–28 will feature Jack Draper against Jakub Mensik and Mirra Andreeva against Alex Eala. The event also includes the Captain Challenge, with Grand Slam champions Li Na and Conchita Martinez adding star power.

Venus Williams and Madison Keys in Charlotte

The Charlotte Invitational on December 4 will showcase Venus Williams and Australian Open champion Madison Keys at the Spectrum Center in North Carolina. They will be joined by fellow Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, ensuring a strong lineup for the local crowd.

A global off-season spectacle

From the United States to Asia and the Middle East, the off-season exhibitions highlight the sport’s global reach. With stars like Alcaraz, Raducanu, Sabalenka, Swiatek, and Eala all confirmed, fans will enjoy a series of high-profile matches that bridge the gap before the 2026 season begins.
