With 32 pairs in the men’s tournament, there will be intense action all week long. Miguel Gonzalez and Albert Trillas support the bottom half of the draw, while Simon Vasquez of Sweden and Luis Oliver Artigas of Spain lead the top half. As they compete for FIP World Ranking points and tour prestige, these combinations are anticipated to produce fierce fights.
Vinny Di Francesco, the top-ranked male player in the US right now, is one of the notable American names. After defeating Argentina’s Octavio Alvarez in Austin, he travels to San Diego.
