Dayana Yastremska was born on May 15th 2000 in Odessa, Ukraine. This girl is 1.75m tall. Her father, Oleksandr Yastremskyi has played a crucial role in her career and has been one of her coaches.

Dayana Yastremska is one of the most exciting players in women’s tennis today. She already has 3 WTA singles titles to her name at a young age of 19. She also has three doubles titles on the ITF Women’s circuit. The Ukrainian teenager made a name for herself when she made it into the 2016 Australian Open Girls’ doubles and thereafter Girls’ singles at Wimbledon.

The first win for Dayana at the WTA level came in 2017 when she defeated Andrea Petkovic in the Istanbul Cup. She won the Hong Kong Open in October 2018 where she defeated Wang Qiang 6-2 6-1. She won her 3rd WTA title when she beat Caroline Garcia in Strasbourg. Dayana broke into the top 100 rankings after her win in Hong Kong. She achieved a career-high WTA ranking of 32 in May 2019, in doubles she achieved the best ranking of 147.

The Odessa native cried after she was beaten by Serena Williams in the Australian Open this year. She was consoled by the American great, this made headlines in the tennis world.
