Felix Auger-Aliassime has reached the final of the 2025 Paris Masters, defeating Alexander Bublik 7-6(3), 6-4 in the semifinal. The Canadian, currently ranked No. 10 in the world, is now one win away from securing a spot at the ATP Finals in Turin. His run in Paris marks only the second Masters 1000 final of his career, and comes after a series of hard-fought victories earlier in the tournament.

Confidence built through adversity

Auger-Aliassime’s path to the final was anything but easy. He came from a set down in three consecutive matches before cruising past Bublik in straight sets. Speaking after the match, he shared his thoughts on the mental and physical demands of competing at this level.

“I’m so happy. A Masters 1000 final sounds so good. You don’t play those finals every week,” said Auger-Aliassime. “Hopefully I can go all the way and get the title. But in terms of today, you get into a Masters and every match is tough… it’s stacked… You’re always kind of curious to see how your game is gonna match up.”

Belief and execution

Auger-Aliassime emphasized the importance of self-belief and the ability to deliver under pressure. His performance against Bublik showcased his improved serve, consistent baseline play, and tactical awareness.

“I have deep self-confidence in my game, I know what I can do against the best players in the world but you still have to go and execute. Today I did really well and I’m happy with the result,”

he added.

One step from Turin

With the final ahead, Auger-Aliassime has a chance to cap off his season with a major title and a place among the top eight in Turin. His opponent will be determined in the second semifinal, but regardless of the outcome, his Paris campaign has already made a strong statement.
