Magda Linette is having a fantastic run at the Bronx Open where she reached her 2nd career final after she Tokyo 2015 when she lost to Yanina Wickmayer in straight sets.
The 27-year-old from Poland reached the final starting straight from the qualifications after beating Gabriela Dabrowski 6-1 6-2, Sophie Chang 6-3 6-3, Anna Blinkova 7-66 7-69, Kaia Kanepi 6-2 7-5, Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-1 6-4, and Karolina Muchova 6-74 6-4 7-63.
The Pole will face either the seed no.1 Qian Wang or Camila Giorgi for the title before heading to the Flushing Meadows where she will play Astra Sharma in the 1st round.
