Djokovic exterminates Thiem

Novak Djokovic is doing everything he can to get back to his best tennis. The Serbian sensation reaches the Rome final after brushing aside Juan Martin Del Potro and Dominic Thiem in the same day without dropping a single set. Nole had to complete the quarters on Saturday against the Argentine after their match was suspended the day before because of the rain when the world no.2 was 1 set up against Delpo. Eventually, Djokovic won the match 6-1 6-4. Things got even better for the Serbian in the semi-final against Dominic Thiem that upset Rafael Nadal in the quarters. Djokovic was in “Serbinator mode” to concede only one game to Dominic and win 6-1 6-0.

The best match of the season. DJOKOVIC

Nole was visibly elated with his performance to comment

“This is undoubtedly my best performance of this year and maybe even longer. I’m overjoyed and happy with every minute that I spent on the court today. It was a perfect match. Everything that I intended to do, I have done it and even more. There’s not much to say except that I am so grateful to experience something like this because I have been waiting and working for it for a long time.”

The final vs. Zverev

Nole will play the final against Sascha Zverev. They have never played each other so far.
