Stefanos Tsitsipas has officially announced his withdrawal from the Rolex Paris Masters, one of the final ATP1000 events of the season. The Greek star shared the news through a personal statement, expressing regret over missing the tournament and gratitude for the support he has received in France over the years.

“Hi everyone, unfortunately I’ll be withdrawing from the Rolex Paris Masters this year. I’ve always enjoyed competing there and truly appreciate the great support from the Parisian and French fans over the years,” Tsitsipas said.

Eyes on recovery and the 2026 season

Tsitsipas emphasized that his current priority is to heal and prepare for the upcoming season. After a year marked by physical challenges and inconsistent form, the decision to step away from Paris reflects a strategic move to ensure long-term fitness.

“My focus now is on recovery and healing, so I can come back stronger for the 2026 season. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support,”

he added.

Impact on the ATP race and year-end goals

His absence from Paris could affect his standing in the ATP Race to Turin, where the top eight players qualify for the prestigious year-end Finals. With limited opportunities left to earn points, Tsitsipas will rely on his earlier season results to maintain a competitive position.

The withdrawal also opens the door for other contenders to gain ground in the rankings, as the Paris Masters often plays a decisive role in shaping the final leaderboard.

Tsitsipas’s fans will now look ahead to 2026, hopeful that the time off will allow him to return refreshed and ready to challenge for major titles once again.
