Two of the top padel players in the world, Federico Chingotto (world No. 2) and Augustin Tapia (world No. 1), will be visiting Quito for the first time as part of the historic Ecuador Padel Stars American Express competition, which Banco Guayaquil has officially established. For the sport, which is still gaining popularity throughout Ecuador, the tournament represents a major turning point.
Two days of unique adventures
There will be two major events in the competition. Fans may attend an exclusive Meet & Greet with Tapia and Chingotto at the Quorum on Paseo San Francisco on Friday, December 16. There will be interactive on-court activities, photo ops, and signature chances during the session.
The much-awaited exhibition match between the two stars is scheduled to take place at the Rancho San Francisco facilities on Saturday, December 17. Fans from all across the area are anticipated to attend the game because they want to see top-tier padel played locally.
Pre-sale tickets and general admission
Only American Express Banco Guayaquil customers and Club Rancho San Francisco members can purchase pre-sale tickets using the meet2go platform between October 22 and 24. On October 27, general ticket sales will begin.
Customers who use American Express or Banco Guayaquil cards to purchase VIP packages—which include admission to both the exhibition match and the Meet & Greet—will be eligible for a 10% discount.
An increase in padel’s popularity in Ecuador
The occasion highlights the common objectives of American Express and Banco Guayaquil, which are to promote sports and provide their customers with first-rate experiences. It is anticipated that Tapia and Chingotto’s entrance would encourage a new generation of padel players and enthusiasts as the sport gains popularity in Ecuador.
During the launch announcement, a Banco Guayaquil representative stated, “We are honored to sponsor an event that brings elite athletes to Ecuador and enhances the bond between sport and community.”
The Ecuador Padel Stars tournament is expected to be a landmark event for the sport in the nation as excitement grows.
