Nick Kyrgios has finally decided to get a coach on board, but only on a part-time basis.
Why the deal is only part-time.
Sebastien Grosjean, Kyrgios’ new coach, is based at the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton (Florida) that is the same place where Nick’s girlfriend Ajla Tomljanovic is training. Kyrgios has been practicing with Sebastien soon after the Australian Open, and apparently the partnership is working well.
The Frenchman explained to “L’Equipe” why the deal was taken on a part-time basis
“To be honest, I don’t want to be on the road 25 weeks a year,” commented Grosjean. “Nick needs to have a certain freedom. He doesn’t need someone all the time.”
