Simona Halep had a fantastic week in Madrid where she managed to defend her title. Besides winning the prestigious event, the Romanian has also managed to win lots of points (1000) to get back to her world no.4 rank.
Among the other movements, Angelique Kerber is back to world no.1 (but that doesn’t seem to interest many fans) and Kiki Mladenovic gained 3 places to be closer to the top10 (now no.14).
