A common belief among padel players is that more court time will inevitably result in improved performance. However, playing frequently without implementing focused improvement techniques frequently results in stagnation. “You can play five times a week and still not improve if you’re repeating the same mistakes,” says Sandy Farquharson, the founder of The Padel School.
In padel, plateaus are frequent, particularly for intermediate players who only use match play. Players run the risk of perpetuating bad habits rather than changing them if they don’t receive organized training, technical improvement, and mental focus.
