Elena Rybakina capped off a challenging week with a title win at the Ningbo Open, showcasing resilience and focus in the final stretch of the season. The Kazakhstani player overcame fatigue and tough competition to secure the trophy, adding another highlight to her 2025 campaign.

Pushing through with team support

After the final, Rybakina shared her thoughts on the physical and mental toll of the closing months. “Really happy with the win and I think by the end of the season, everybody is quite tired, but I’m glad that I managed to push myself also with the help of the team to improve each day, even if it’s already end of the season and you only thinking about vacation. So yeah, it was a tough week,” she said.

A week of consistent performances

Rybakina’s run in Ningbo featured several hard-fought matches, where her serve and baseline control proved decisive. Reflecting on her performance, she added: “A lot of good, good wins. So I’m very happy.” Her ability to maintain composure and adapt tactically was key to navigating the draw.

Looking ahead with confidence

With the season winding down, Rybakina’s focus now shifts to recovery and preparation for the upcoming tournaments. Her win in Ningbo not only adds to her title count but reinforces her status among the top contenders heading into 2026.
