One of the world’s most successful padel players, Ale Galan, has stated that he has no plans to retire. He talked openly about his continuous growth and the inspiration behind him in a recent interview with El Mundo.
“The day I stop will come when I feel there’s nothing left to improve, but right now I keep getting better every year,” he stated.
More Powerful Than Before
Galan feels his present level is higher than anything he accomplished while at the top, even if he was world No. 1. Years of physical fitness, tactical development, and refining have given him confidence.
“I’m actually a far better player now than I was at the top of the global rankings. “Much better,” he said.
No Ceiling in View
Galan is still as ambitious as ever. Persuaded that his best is still to come, he trains hard and diligently at the age of 29.
Adding, “My ceiling is still far away,”
A Voice in Athletics
Galan has had a significant influence on the development of padel in addition to his on-court exploits. He has pushed for improved circumstances and increased awareness of the sport globally in his capacity as the former president of the players’ association.
