Agassi to coach Djokovic?

Novak Djokovic has been hitting the headlines for his controversial relationship with his staff after he fired his entire coaching team following years of successes.

During a recent interview, Nole conceded that he doesn’t plan to stay without a coach for long and he wants to hire someone that had similar experiences in the past (i.e. a super coach).

Nole commented

“It’s going to be someone that has been through similar experiences as I have. Not too many people in the past of tennis have managed to get to that stage and play at that level, so I’ll see.

I’m thinking slowly and thoroughly about it. I don’t want to take things with a rush.”

Is Agassi the chosen one?

According to the Daily Telegraph, the chosen one would be Andre Agassi even if during a recent interview in March with The Guardian, Andre commented

“I would not have any room now with my kids, who are 15 and 13. So the answer is no. I wouldn’t be able to do it because I couldn’t do it the way I would need to do it.”

Agassi has won 60 career titles (8 slams), so… he has the proper resume.

Let’s see.
