The Six Kings Slam has returned to Riyadh for its second edition, bringing together six of the world’s top tennis stars in a unique indoor exhibition format. From October 15 to 18, players will compete at the ANB Arena for a staggering $13.5 million prize pool, making it the most lucrative tournament in tennis. Each participant receives a $1.5 million appearance fee, while the winner takes home $6 million—over $800,000 more than Carlos Alcaraz earned by winning the US Open.

Unlike traditional ATP events, the Six Kings Slam does not offer ranking points. Its appeal lies in the elite field, knockout format, and global streaming via Netflix.

Why Djokovic and Alcaraz are seeded

Despite winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon in 2025 and being the defending champion, Jannik Sinner was not granted a seeded position. Organizers based seeding on career Grand Slam totals, giving Novak Djokovic (24 titles) and Carlos Alcaraz (6 titles) direct entry into the semifinals.

Sinner must first face Stefanos Tsitsipas, who replaced the injured Jack Draper. The Italian leads their indoor head-to-head, having won in Rotterdam and the ATP Finals in 2023, but trails 3–6 overall. Their most recent clash in Monte Carlo 2024 saw Tsitsipas win in three sets.

Tournament format and schedule

The Six Kings Slam follows a knockout format:

  • Quarterfinals: October 15

    • Zverev vs Fritz (18:30 CET)

    • Sinner vs Tsitsipas (not before 20:00 CET)

  • Semifinals: October 16

    • Alcaraz vs winner of Zverev/Fritz

    • Djokovic vs winner of Sinner/Tsitsipas

  • Finals: October 18

    • Third-place match (18:30 CET)

    • Championship match (not before 20:00 CET)

Streaming and fan engagement

The entire event is streamed exclusively on Netflix, adding a cinematic layer to the competition. The platform’s involvement has helped elevate the tournament’s visibility, making it a global showcase for tennis excellence.

If Sinner defeats Tsitsipas, he will face Djokovic in the semifinal—a matchup he has dominated recently, winning their last five encounters. Meanwhile, Alcaraz awaits the winner of Zverev vs Fritz, a rivalry currently led 9–5 by the American.
