Players get a unique glimpse of how top-tier padel instruction takes place on the court during a real-time coaching session that delves deeply into advanced bandeja technique, placement, and tactical application.
Dismantling the Bandeja
The goal of this advanced padel lesson is to improve your bandeja, one of the most important yet misinterpreted strokes in the game. The bandeja, which is sometimes mistaken for the vibora, is a controlled overhead that is used to reset the point instead of finishing it and retain net position.
A technical analysis of each player’s form opens the session. Poor contact point, hurried footwork, and over-rotation are common problems. The coach stresses the significance of shoulder alignment and balance.
“The bandeja is not about power, it’s about control and positioning,” the coach explains during the session. “If you’re falling backward or hitting too flat, you’re giving the point away.”
