World No. 2 Jannik Sinner has landed in Riyadh ahead of the 2025 Six Kings Slam, where he will attempt to defend the title he won in dramatic fashion last year. The Italian star received a warm welcome from fans and organizers upon arrival, with bouquets, cheers, and chants marking his return to Saudi Arabia.
“Very happy to be back here in Riyadh playing Six Kings Slam and I hope you guys will enjoy it. See you on Wednesday, so very excited,” Sinner said during his arrival.
A Star-Studded Field Awaits
The Six Kings Slam, held from October 15 to 18 at Riyadh’s ANB Arena, features six of the world’s top male players: Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Taylor Fritz. The elite exhibition tournament offers a total prize purse of $13.5 million, with each player receiving a $1.5 million participation fee and the winner earning an additional $4.5 million.
Sinner will face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals on October 15. The winner will meet Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, while Carlos Alcaraz awaits the victor of Zverev vs Fritz in the other half of the draw.
A Challenging Path to the Final
Despite being the defending champion, Sinner was not granted a bye to the semifinals, unlike Djokovic and Alcaraz. This decision has sparked debate among fans, especially given Sinner’s performance last year when he defeated Alcaraz 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 in the final to claim the largest prize money in tennis history.
Sinner enters the tournament after recovering from cramps that forced him to retire in the third round of the Shanghai Masters. He underwent medical checks in Monte Carlo and took a brief break from training to ensure full fitness for Riyadh.
Looking to Repeat History
Last year’s Six Kings Slam final was a highlight of the tennis calendar, with Sinner overcoming a first-set deficit to outplay Alcaraz in a two-hour and twenty-minute battle. His performance included four breaks across the final two sets and showcased his resilience and tactical precision.
Now, with renewed focus and the hunger to reclaim his crown, Sinner returns to Riyadh as one of the favorites. Fans around the world will be watching closely as the Italian seeks to repeat his success and reaffirm his place among the sport’s elite.

Currently, during this season Jannik owns a composed 43-6 win-loss record. Sinner conquered 3 titles in 2025 at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and Beijing. Sinner reached the final in Rome, French Open, Cincinnati and U.S. Open.
