Pouille triumphs in Budapest

It was too easy for Lucas Pouille in Budapest where he has won the second title of his career after beating Bedene 6-3 6-1.

Lucas had a very smooth run during the last week with the exception of the first match when he defeated Vesely 6-3 4-6 7-6 (4).

Happy about my season. POUILLE

Before Budapest, Lucas had a fantastic run in Monte Carlo where he lost only in the semi-final against Albert Ramos-Vinolas. Therefore, the Frenchman was extremely happy for backing up that week with this title. After the match, Lucas commented

“I feel very happy with the way I started the clay season. To win here gives me a lot of confidence for the future. It’s been a great week, and it was nice to see the French supporters in the crowd. My goal for the next few tournaments is to be at 200 per cent of my capacity, so I will do everything I can to be ready.”
